When I first started reading this book I thought to myself what a self involved asshole!
The Dry by Jane Harper. For a musician who has spent the better half of his life either intoxicated or on a drug high, Kiedis, the lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, has produced a surprisingly detailed account of his life. If you can’t stand the drugs-rehab-drugs-rehab seemingly endless cycle that exists in most of these memoirs, don’t read them because that’s how it generally works before something finally sticks.
Wcar sections never cease to be at least somewhat entertaining.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s not a bad front man, he can carry a tune and some women would consider him eye candy. It just left a good feeling inside me, when I finished reading this book. Dude, you’re supposed to be an artist. Before picking up this book, my knowledge of Red Hot Chili Peppers was pretty minimal. The Dali insists that a picture be taken with them both on Tony’s camera.
Even if you are a huge fan, can we just agree that the man is unbelievably full of himself? Over twenty years later, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, against all odds, have become one of the most successful bands in the world.
